No. Azury File Converter runs entirely on your own PC and your documents are never uploaded anywhere. The app only uses the internet to activate your licence code and to check whether a newer version is available; nothing about you or your files is sent.
No. If Microsoft Word 2013 or newer is installed, the app uses Word's own conversion engine for the best quality. If Word is not installed, a built-in engine rebuilds the paragraphs, headings and tables into an editable .docx file.
It depends on the route you choose. The Editable text and pictures route needs Publisher installed (Publisher 2010 or newer). The Keep layout route can use LibreOffice instead if Publisher is not installed.

Yes, for a new release. The installer is digitally signed by Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd, which is why the prompt shows our name as the publisher. Windows SmartScreen also wants to see a file downloaded and run a number of times before it stops warning, so a fresh version can show the prompt for its first few weeks. Check the publisher line reads Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd, then click Run anyway. If the publisher is missing or different, do not run it and contact us.
