Questions and answers

Straight answers for business owners weighing up bespoke software, a new website, a chat assistant or one of our products - what we do, what it costs, and how your data is looked after.

What does Azury Digital do?

Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd is a UK software house with its registered office in Waterlooville. We build and run our own business apps - Lettright for lettings, housing and hospitality, MyWorkBase for sole traders and company directors, Tiny Treasurer for clubs and small charities, and Lushera for salons and barbers - alongside bespoke software and website design and hosting for other businesses. PC builds, repairs and hardware live with our sister site, Azury PC.

Who do you build software for?

UK businesses, from one-person outfits to whole companies, that have a job software should be doing for them. Our own products serve letting agents, landlords and housing providers, guest houses, tradespeople and the self-employed, clubs and societies, and salons. Bespoke work on the bench right now includes builds for a dog-walking business, an accountancy office, a collectibles store and a mural artist - none of them named, because we keep client work private unless our clients choose otherwise.

Our software is built by people who have worked inside the industries we build for, so it understands the real paperwork, the deadlines and the rules that matter. See what is in the workshop.

How much does bespoke software cost?

It depends on the job, so every build is quoted individually. Bespoke development is provided on the basis of the specific quote or agreement we give you; any deposit and payment terms are set out in that quote, timescales are estimates, prices are in GBP, and we are not currently VAT registered so no VAT is charged.

It is more practical, and more affordable, than most people expect: there are no per-seat fees for features you never use, and you can start with the one thing you need most and build out from there as it proves its worth. The first conversation is free - tell us about the job you keep doing the hard way. See bespoke software and our terms.

How much do your products cost, and can I try them first?

Each product has its own home and its own pricing. MyWorkBase is free to start - unlimited quotes and invoices, your branding and Stripe card payments - with Making Tax Digital and Workforce Pro as simple monthly add-ons you switch on only if you need them; cancel anytime, and no card is needed for the free plan. Lettright is bespoke property software built from modules, so it is put together around how you let. Tiny Treasurer and Lushera each have their own site with the details.

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe, continue until cancelled and renew automatically at the interval shown at purchase; you can cancel to stop future renewals. Prices are in GBP and no VAT is charged. The working examples on our software page run in your browser, so you can try the kind of thing we build before you talk to us.

What kinds of bespoke software can you build?

The things people ask us for most are client portals, order tracking with a text to the customer when an order moves, live GPS tracking, online bookings, reports and dashboards, and website navigation that feels finished - there are six working examples you can click around on our software page. Behind those sit the everyday jobs: automating repetitive admin, getting records out of scattered spreadsheets into a proper database, and joining up the tools you already use so they talk to each other.

We build whichever shape fits: an in-house tool that runs on your own computers with no internet required, a server-based system your whole team shares, or a web application you reach from any device through a browser. Two of our products started life as bespoke builds for one business and grew from there - a route open to you too.

Do you design and host websites as well?

Yes. We start from what you actually need the site to do - take bookings, sell online, collect reviews, show off past jobs, capture enquiries - then design it, build it, host it and look after it. Sites are designed for you rather than from a template, mobile-first, and built to grow as you do. A set of ready-made templates for common trades is coming soon as a faster, lower-cost way in.

Every site we build is served over HTTPS with a certificate that renews itself automatically, at no extra charge, sits on infrastructure operated by IONOS Group in ISO 27001-certified data centres, and is backed up on a schedule. Every product in our range has a site we designed, built and host ourselves, so you can see our work at lettright.co.uk, lushera.co.uk, myworkbase.co.uk and tinytreasurer.com. More on the website design page.

Can I have a chat assistant on my website?

Yes. We build assistants trained on your own pages and documents that answer people in plain English, one question at a time - do you cover my area, what does it cost, what do I need to bring - and know when to stop and book an appointment, email you a summary or tell the customer to call. The same idea can point inward as a helpdesk for your own team.

Every assistant we build runs on your site with no tracking, keeps nothing it is told, has hard spending caps, and always knows when a person should take over. You can try the one we built for the repair side of our own business, Charlie, at azurypc.co.uk/help.html. Details are on the website design page.

Do you build or repair PCs, and where are the free tools?

That side of the company is Azury PC, our sister site at azurypc.co.uk: custom PC builds, repairs and upgrades, office and workstation setups around Portsmouth, and our free Windows tools Lockbox and SpecCore. PC builds, repairs and hardware are supplied under the Azury PC name and its own terms, so head there for anything hardware.

Where is my data hosted, and how is it protected?

Your data is hosted in the United Kingdom by Fasthosts, whose data centres are certified to ISO/IEC 27001, so it stays within UK data-protection law. Every connection to our apps is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS, backups are encrypted with AES-256 and held off-site, and data is backed up automatically every hour with a full daily server image.

Each customer's data is fully separated - you only ever see your own. Administrator access is by cryptographic key only, passwords are protected with bcrypt one-way hashing so even we cannot see them, repeated failed sign-ins are rate-limited and blocked, and the application code has been through an in-depth security review. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. The full picture is on our security page.

Do you use tracking cookies or analytics?

No. This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. Our apps use a single functional token to keep you securely signed in, which is essential to the service and is not used to track you. The same goes for any chat assistant we build - it runs on your site with no tracking.

Who owns the data I put into your apps?

You do. You own the data you enter, and where you store information about your own clients or tenants you are the data controller and we act as your data processor under a data processing agreement, handling it only on your instructions. We never sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service - Stripe for payments and Fasthosts for UK hosting and transactional email - and may disclose data where the law requires it.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability; email info@azurydigital.co.uk and we will respond within one month. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC188926. See our privacy policy.

Is Azury Digital a registered UK company?

Yes. Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 13446812, with its registered office at 23a The Precinct, London Road, Waterlooville PO7 7DT. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (reference ZC188926) and handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are a registered Google Play developer, and our software is code-signed through Azure Trusted Signing.

How do I get started with a bespoke build or a website?

Email info@azurydigital.co.uk or call 07474 951300 and tell us about the job - the first conversation is free. For a bespoke build, describe the thing you keep doing the hard way; for a website, tell us your goals and we will sketch out what the site could do. You then get a specific quote or agreement setting out the work, any deposit and the payment terms; timescales are estimates.

You do not have to start big - start with the one thing you need most, then build out from there as it proves its worth.

Do you look after what you build after launch?

Yes. Bespoke software is built, hosted and maintained by us, and websites are hosted, secured and maintained for you - we keep the security patches, the certificates and the backups running in the background so you can get on with your business. If something needs attention, email info@azurydigital.co.uk.

We work hard to keep everything available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and may occasionally need to carry out maintenance or update features, and we recommend keeping your own backups of important data.

Still got a question? Email info@azurydigital.co.uk or call 07474 951300 and we will take it from there.
